Appears to be homemade clog made out of electrical tape covering lower half of pipe after brand new pipes were installed under our sink by Jessreal Synder of Real's Clean & Neat Plumbing in Charlottesville, VA. Why would any plumber leave to pieces of balled up tape attached to each other then cover the lower half of your drain pipe with tape? Bad experience with this plumber. Would never recommend him to anyone.
